Tulsa Clarinet Quartet


TCQ's goals are to promote live quality music, clarinet education, and to connect to our audience through entertaining and educating our audience. 

The Tulsa Clarinet Quartet, (TCQ): started in the spring of 2000 as a group of four friends getting together to play quartets. Aside from being professional clarinetists, everyone in the group is a clarinet instructor in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. TCQ’s members have been teaching and performing in the Tulsa area for several years.  Please feel free to come up and visit with us after our performances and clinics. We would love to get to know our audience and to hear what you like about our presentation and what you would like to see us do in the future. Members of the quartet can be seen performing with the Tulsa Starlight Band, the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, the Signature Symphony, the Tulsa Community Band, and in local churches.

TCQ’s Performance Portfolio:

  • Performed in the Oklahoma Mozart Festival in Bartlesville, OK.

  • Recorded a christmas album titled "Caroling Clarinets" with Windchime Studios in Tulsa. 

  • Performed as guest artists for the University of Oklahoma Clarinet Symposium in Norman, OK.

  • Performed at "Clarinet Day" at Arkansas Tech Univeristy. 

  • Performed as "Artists in the Schools" in Tulsa area schools with support from the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa,  Oklahoma Arts Council, and the Tulsa Starlight Band.

  • TU's "Concerts with Commentary" Faculty Recital Series.

  • Provided entertainment at Hilcrest Hospital for patients and administrators. 

  • Provided graduation and pre-ceremony music for OSU Medical Center Graduations

  • Made appearances at KOTV Channel 6 News “Six in the Morning” show and "Good Day Tulsa" Channel 8, KTUL as representatives of the Tulsa Starlight Band.

  • Perform for the “Brown Bag It” Concert Series at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center

  • Oklahoma Music Education Association convention

  • Little Lighthouse (fundraising event)

  • “Tuesday Tunes” Concert Series at the Tulsa Central Library

  •  Hardesty Library Concert Series

  • Starbucks, Nordaggio’s, Java Dave’s, and Eurobean coffee shops

  • Performed for residents and adminstrators at  University Village Retirement Home

  • Performed a christmas program for First Presbyterian Church in Sand Springs

  • Provided pre & post service lobby music for the Christmas Program at Believer’s Church

  • “Tuesdays at Trinity” Concert Series at Trinity Episcopal Church

  • Provided music for a ladies luncheon at First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow

  • We also have played for private events including weddings, dinner parties, receptions, holiday gatherings, and other special events.
